Package Details

Day One

Fly into Liberia, Costa Rica where we will meet you and take you to your waiting private transfer. We’ll take you to the popular town of Tamarindo, located less than 1.5 hrs from the LIR Airport. Home to some of the best nightlife, local restaurants, and shopping you’ll be sure to enjoy the local culture in Tamarindo. You will be staying at the Tamarindo Diria, one of the few beach front hotels in Costa Rica. With three pools, great ocean views, and an enviable location right in the middle of town you will have everything you need within walking distance of the hotel.
Day Two

Golfing day! Take a 15 minute ride south to the 4,500 acre Hacienda Pinilla property which spans six beaches and includes an equestrian center, boutique hotel, and the JW Marriott Guanacaste. The Hacienda Pinilla golf course was designed by Mike Young and built specifically to showcase the contours of the land and its stunning beach front location. The par-72, 7,274 yard course is one of the few in the world that is actually designed to face the Pacific so it’s as challenging as it is beautiful. The course is also Audubon Society certified as it was carefully built to preserve the dry forest and the abundant wildlife that call Hacienda Pinilla home.
Day Three

Let’s go fishing! Stroll out from your hotel down to the beach and board your sport fishing boat moored just off-shore. You’ll spend today fishing off-shore for marlin, sailfish, dorado, wahoo, and yellow-fin tuna with our legendary American captain who boasts over 30 years of experience captaining here in Costa Rica.
Day Four

Tamarindo affords you the luxury of being directly between two of the best golf courses in the country: Hacienda Pinilla located 15 minutes to the south and the Garra de Leon course located 15 minutes north at the beautiful Reserva Conchal property. Today you’ll golf the Garra de Leon, ranked as the 20th best course in Central America & Caribbean by Golf Week for 2014. This par-71 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and features open fairways, plenty of bunkers, and a mix of fresh water lakes and ocean front holes.
Day Five

Let’s go fishing! Go off-shore for another day of fishing for pelagic species like billfish, dorado, yellow-fin tuna, and wahoo. If you want to catch dinner keep an eye out for spinner dolphins and dive-bombing birds, a sure give away that yellow-fin tuna are swimming underneath the surface.
Day Six

Let’s go fishing! This is your last day of fishing so we’ll try something new today by fishing in-shore for snapper, grouper, jacks, and the prized roosterfish. Another option is to go bottom fishing for large snapper, grouper, and amberjacks at the deep water reefs.
Day Seven

Last full day in Costa Rica – relax and enjoy it before heading back to the real world! You can set up another round of golf or just take it easy at the beach and pool bar, you call the shots today!
Day Eight

We will pick you up and transfer you to back to the LIR Airport for your international flight home.
