Originally a private home, the origins of Casa Palopó date back to 2000 when it was first opened as a boutique hotel. To give you an idea of how enchanting this property is, the current owner was a guest at the hotel in 2010 and she loved it so much she bought it herself! The twelve rooms located in the main hotel building provide an authentic Central American feel with stucco walls, exposed wooden beams, and each have their own unique decor and local Guatemala artwork. There is one Superior Room, five Deluxe Rooms, two Suites, three Junior Suites, and one Master Suite spread out between the two levels. All rooms vary in size and bed configuration, but each features a spacious bathroom and a private terrace looking out towards Lake Atitlan. Located higher up on the hill above the main hotel building, the villa features 3-bedrooms, three bathrooms with bathtubs overlooking the lake, private balconies in each room, a full kitchen, and even your own private heated infinity edge pool and hot tub with panoramic views of Lake Atitlan.

Casa Palopó is the perfect place to start your vacation so you can unwind and unplug from responsibilities back home or to end it relaxing after a long week of fishing.
